Retail Sales & Mobile Device Repair Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Damo’s Repairs & Tech, 19–21 Bank Street, Carlisle, CA3 8HJ
Job Type: Part-Time (Minimum 16 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive hourly rate with performance bonuses. Pay above National Minimum/National Living Wage following successful completion of probation.

The Role
This is a varied role that combines retail sales, customer service and technical support. No two days are the same, and you’ll be involved in everything from assisting customers and selling accessories to learning mobile phone and tablet repairs.
You’ll receive full training where required, but previous experience within retail, technology or repairs would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Providing outstanding customer service.
- Greeting customers and handling enquiries in-store, by telephone and online.
- Selling mobile phone accessories and technology products.
- Booking in repairs and accurately recording customer information.
- Processing payments and operating the EPOS system.
- Opening and closing the store.
- Working confidently on your own when required.
- Assisting with stock control, deliveries and merchandising.
- Creating or assisting with social media content.
- Learning and carrying out mobile phone and tablet repairs (training provided where necessary).
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment.
Essential Skills
- Aged 18 or over.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous retail or sales experience.
- Confident working independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Good time management and organisation.
- Comfortable using computers and technology.
Desirable Skills
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial, but is not essential:
- Mobile phone or tablet repairs.
- Electronics or technology retail.
- Social media management.
- Stock ordering and inventory management.
- EPOS systems.
- Technical troubleshooting.

Hours
