Mobile Crane Operator
Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire

Pay: £16.50–£17.50 per hour (dependent on experience) + overtime opportunities

Berry Cranes Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team based in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
We are a well-established mobile crane hire company carrying out lifting operations across a wide variety of projects, from commercial and construction sites through to infrastructure and specialist lifts.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across different sites and projects. We are looking for someone reliable, flexible and willing to be part of a small team where everyone pulls together when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of mobile cranes in accordance with lift plans and site requirements
- Daily crane and vehicle checks
- Working alongside lift supervisors, slingers and site teams
- Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
- Supporting wider operational requirements where required
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites
Requirements:
- CPCS Mobile Crane Operator Card (A60) or equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence with appropriate HGV entitlement (Class 2 / Category C minimum preferred)
- Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
- Flexible attitude towards working hours, including early starts and overtime when required
- Applicants must currently be based in the UK and already have the legal right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications such as Slinger Signaller or Lift Supervisor
- Experience operating a variety of crane sizes
- Knowledge of working across different site environments
