Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Steak Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality grilled steaks and related dishes. This role requires a professional with excellent kitchen experience, culinary skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking steaks to perfection, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional meal presentation and taste.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook steaks to specified customer preferences using appropriate grilling techniques
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
Assist in meal preparation for various dishes, maintaining consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
Serve dishes promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment

Experience

Proven experience as a Steak Grill Chef or similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
Experience in culinary techniques specific to grilling and meat preparation
Familiarity with food safety protocols and hygiene standards in a professional kitchen environment
Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering service is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
