We’re Hiring an Exceptional Maths Teacher

£21,000–£30,000 | Term-Time Only

Are you an experienced Maths teacher who loves teaching — but wants more balance, more freedom, and more enjoyment in your work?

At HD Tuition, Somerset’s leading tuition centre, we’re looking for an outstanding Maths specialist to join our growing team and play a key role in the next stage of our journey.

The Role

You will teach:

Years 7–11 students in the evenings, in small, focused groups

All sessions are:

In-person
A maximum of 4 students per group
Delivered in a calm, modern centre using iPads
Designed so you can teach properly, without rushing

Working hours:
4:30pm – 7:30pm,

Who We’re Looking For

At least 10 years’ experience teaching Maths
Strong knowledge of AQA and Edexcel GCSE Maths
Confidence across other exam boards (content is largely transferable)
Experience teaching Foundation and Higher tiers
A calm, clear and engaging teaching style
A teacher who genuinely cares about progress and confidence
