We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our established Small Projects Team, delivering high quality prime residential building projects valued up to £250k.
This is a varied, client facing role where strong communication and relationship building skills are essential. You will work closely with clients, design teams, and trades teams to ensure every project is delivered smoothly, professionally, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Your role
As a Site Manager in our Small Projects Team, you will be based at Head Office with on-site working as required to oversee and manage multiple projects. Working closely with our Small Projects Contracts Managers and experienced trades teams you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently; providing the best possible value and outcome for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Awareness: To ensure we manage our sites safely and protect our · team’s health, including managing and ensuring CDM 2015 and Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) compliance. Knowledge of all relevant Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) legislation with regards to statutory compliance. Establishment of a site safety culture, ensuring the use of Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment and conducting site inspections. Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and briefings. Ensuring all documentation related to SHE is completed regularly, kept up to date and filed securely
- Project Scheduling & Planning: To organise and manage site activities with regard to the sequencing of activities and the use of labour, plant, equipment and tools in line with project information and the construction programme. Monitor progress to ensure milestones are met
- Site Supervision & Management: To manage day to day operations on site, controlling site logistics such as labour, plant and materials and supervising accredited Subcontractors. Work with Head of Resource & Operations to ensure appropriate skills are available at the right time. Consult with Subcontractors to gather their specialist input into the programme. Manage and maintain the site to a high standard and to ensure that all team members, including Subcontractors, conduct themselves appropriately at all times.
- Quality Control: To manage the quality of workmanship of the team onsite to maintain the very highest of standards; including regular site inspections of work to ensure it meets technical specifications, building regulations and quality standards
- Commercial Awareness: To manage labour, plant, equipment, tools and ordering of materials to ensure all project tasks are completed efficiently and cost-effectively, meeting all compliance standards and demonstrating value to our clients
- Communication & Reporting: To maintain excellent levels of clear communication with Contracts Manager, clients, their representatives and design teams throughout the project. Contribute proactively in meetings to report on progress, address risks and resolve any on-site challenges to ensure milestones and quality standards are met
- Site Setup & Security: To set up site, including welfare facilities, fencing and safety signage. Maintain site security and conduct site inductions
What you bring - Qualifications & Experience
- Previous Site Management experience with comprehensive knowledge of traditional methods and materials of construction, preferably in traditional and high-end construction and restoration
- Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate
- Current and valid CSCS Card
- Basic contractual knowledge
