Patient Services Administrator - 37 hours per week

Applicants must be available to work between the hours of 7.45am and 8pm with notice. Days/Times of shifts TBC but must include Monday and Wednesday.

Walford Mill Medical Centre in Wimborne is looking for a Patient Services Administrator/General Practice Administrative assistant to join our team. We are a forward thinking Practice who work closely with our Primary Care Network to develop and shape services. Our Patient Services Team act as Care Navigators ensuring patients access the most appropriate service in the first instance. They ensure all communications are dealt with efficiently and administrative processes are embedded and standards maintained.

This is a varied role which includes administrative support to our clinical team, face to face and telephone patient interaction, data management and general practice administration. The successful applicant will be adaptable in the modern world of primary care, an excellent multitasker, have good customer service skills and good IT skills. Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness is essential. We do open some Saturdays and one weekday until 8pm. Experience in this type of role is preferable however, we will be happy to provide full training to the right applicant. Car parking is available on site, 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays and access to the NHS pension scheme available.
