Materials Planner / Buyer
Location: Redditch

Are you an experienced Materials Planner or Buyer looking for your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring the smooth procurement of raw materials and goods while driving supplier performance and process improvements.

What You'll Be Doing:

Managing purchasing functions, placing and expediting orders to prevent delays.
Negotiating lead times and resolving supplier issues to maintain seamless operations.
Maintaining SAP system data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Supporting inventory control, supplier on-time delivery (OTD), and process improvements.
Collaborating across teams to optimise material flow and demand planning.
Actively monitoring supplier performance using KPIs and regular reviews.

What Our Client Are Looking For:

Proven experience in materials management and procurement within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP, MPS, and scheduling techniques.
CIPS certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
