Job description

Winchester Racquets and Fitness is a private members sports club situated on the outskirts of Winchester, within walking distance of the city centre and train station. With over 2500 members, the club is a focal venue for racquet sports and fitness in the south of England. As well as tennis & squash courts with a vibrant social scene, the club offers excellent health & fitness facilities with a fully equipped fitness centre and large exercise studio.

An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a self employed fitness professional to join a team aiming to deliver exceptional standards of exercise instruction and customer engagement. The successful candidate would be expected to have knowledge of the fitness industry with experience in a similar role desirable. A genuine passion for sport and fitness is essential as the successful applicant will play a key role in the delivery of the fitness product offered at the club.

We are looking for instructors to teach a variety of classes including:

Body Pump
Body Combat
Circuits
Indoor Cycling
H.I.I.T
Step
Barre
Pilates

Requirements:

Minimum level 2 fitness instructor qualification
Available to teach on Saturdays and Sundays between 1100 - 1500 (possibility of further classes throughout the week)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Be passionate about delivering a high level of customer service
Flexibility to work a mixture of mornings, evenings & weekends
Experience delivering Group Exercise classes

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £16.00-24.00 per class

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£24.00 per hour
