Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Trainee Chimney Sweep and Stove Fitter, where you will embark on an exciting journey into the world of fireplace and stove installation, maintenance, and cleaning. This paid training position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills in chimney sweeping, stove fitting, and equipment repair while gaining valuable experience in the industry. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learning how to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service for our customers. Responsibilities

Assist with the inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of chimneys and stoves to ensure safety and efficiency
Support the installation and fitting of various types of stoves and heating appliances according to schematics and technical specifications
Participate in equipment repair tasks, troubleshooting issues with appliances or tools as guided by senior team members
Contribute to routine maintenance activities of stoves.
Follow safety protocols during all tasks to maintain a secure working environment
Gain experience in construction-related activities involved in stove fitting and chimney installation projects

Skills

Eagerness to learn more about appliance systems and repairs
Willingness to develop skills in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
Previous experience welcome but not essential
Good attitude
Customer service experience
Excellent communication skills combined with a safety-conscious mindset
