The Royal British Legion Winnersh Branch is seeking an experienced and personable Steward or Stewardess to manage our vibrant social club. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cause that supports the Armed Forces community.
About the Role:
· Overseeing day-to-day operations of two bars
· Managing bar service, cellar operations, stock control, and ordering
· Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the club and kitchen
· Organising rotas, cashing up, and line cleaning
· Supporting events, bookings, and club functions
· Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding standards
· Providing a respectful and friendly welcome to all members and guests
· Working closely with bar staff and the Committee to foster a positive team environment
Hours & Renumeration:
· Full-time position, including evenings and weekends
· Salary negotiable based on experience

Essential qualities include:
· Experience in hospitality, bar work, or venue/club management
· Personal Alcohol Licence (APLH) or willingness to obtain
· Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
· Basic safeguarding or first aid training (or willingness to obtain)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Familiarity with computerised systems and programs
