The Role
As an Electrician with Premier Power Electric, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality electrical installations, testing and maintenance on commercial and industrial projects. You'll work alongside experienced teams, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical containment systems, including tray, basket, trunking and conduit.
- Install and terminate power and lighting circuits.
- Install distribution boards, switchgear and control equipment.
- Carry out cable pulling, glanding and terminating.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure all work complies with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Complete work to programme deadlines while maintaining excellent quality.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- ECS Gold Card.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent).
- Experience working on warehouses, distribution centres or data centres.
- SSSTS or SMSTS (for senior electricians).
