Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Term Locum Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality pharmaceutical services within a community setting..

This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your specialised skills in patient care and medication management while supporting our ongoing healthcare operations. The position requires a professional with strong clinical knowledge, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety and well-being.

Duties

Dispensing prescriptions accurately in accordance with legal and organisational guidelines
Providing expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
Monitoring patient responses to medication and adjusting therapy as necessary
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Maintaining meticulous records of prescriptions dispensed and patient interactions
Participating in clinical audits and quality assurance activities
Supporting pharmacy team members with training and mentorship as required
Provide full vaccination services
Pharmacy First service are essential
Weight loss provision and other services will be provided via a PGD

Qualifications

Fully registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Proven experience working within community pharmacy is a requirement
Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient care and medication management
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and work environments
