Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Personal Driver on a part-time, as-required basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to provide safe and efficient transportation. This role offers flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and is perfect for individuals with experience in commercial driving or delivery services. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including personal and company cars, ensuring adherence to road safety regulations
Provide punctual transportation for clients or staff as required, including errands, appointments, and other engagements
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as tyre pressure, oil levels, and general cleanliness
Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle usage
Communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding schedules or changes in plans
Ensure the vehicle is kept in excellent condition, reporting any repairs or servicing needs promptly

Requirements

Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a driver, preferably with delivery driver experience or commercial driving background
Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures to ensure safety and reliability of the vehicle
Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including variable hours and days
Good organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
