We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse/Receptionist/TCO to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assisting dentists during procedures and ensuring patient comfort
- Manage reception duties including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling enquiries efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental management software and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and updating patient information
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, post-operative care, and general queries
- Ensure the practice adheres to infection control protocols and maintains a clean, organised environment
- Assist with billing procedures and processing payments as required
Experience
- Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting is essential.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards individuals of all ages
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills including familiarity with dental management software (EXACT) or similar systems
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is required.
