We're looking for a talented Midweight Artworker to join Rise & Amplify on a 15-month fixed term contract from 1st August 2026 to covering a period of maternity leave. You'll become a key part of our studio from day one, contributing to a varied mix of client projects. This is primarily an artworking role however, you'll bring a strong design eye to everything you touch, making sure work isn't just technically correct but genuinely looks great.
What You’ll Be Doing
- A hands-on artworking position at the heart of a busy, fast-moving studio
- Preparing and producing print-ready and digital artwork to the highest standards across a range of formats and deliverables
- Managing and adapting existing brand assets, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all touchpoints
- Working from briefs, templates and design files - interpreting them confidently and flagging anything that needs clarity
- Supporting the design team on live projects, contributing ideas and creative input where appropriate
- Collaborating with Senior Designers and the Studio Manager to ensure files are correctly prepared for handover, print or digital output
- Quality-checking your own work rigorously before it leaves your desk -accuracy, consistency and attention to detail are non-negotiable here
- Using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) day-to-day, and After Effects for motion when required
- Juggling multiple projects at once, you're organised, self-aware and great at managing your own time
- Getting stuck in with the wider studio, this is a hands-on, collaborative role
Core Competencies
Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in artworking or design role.
- Experience within agency environment
Software Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop essential).
- After Effects experience is a strong advantage (motion graphics, social content, animated assets).
Project Delivery
- Able to switch between client brands and formats seamlessly, always delivering work that's accurate, consistent and on-brand.
Project Ownership
- Organised, proactive and love ticking things off the list. Manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
Communication
- Confident communicator, equally comfortable managing client expectations and collaborating effectively with the internal team.
Detail & Quality
- Meticulous and quality‑driven, with an eye for precision at every stage.
The Team
- You'll sit within the studio team at Rise & Amplify, working day-to-day alongside senior designers.
- Reporting into the Studio Manager, who oversees studio workflow, file handover and project delivery.
- Working in close collaboration with the wider design team, contributing ideas and creative input where appropriate.
