Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Salary: £42,000–£52,000 per year (depending on experience) + Company Van + Fuel Card + Bonus

At Giles Plumbing & Heating Ltd, we specialize in delivering high-quality plumbing and heating installations for premium residential properties. As our reputation continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Plumbing & Heating Engineer to become a valued member of our team.

We work exclusively within the domestic sector, carrying out bespoke installations, renovations, heating upgrades and renewable energy projects. We take great pride in the standard of our workmanship and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality.

The Role

As part of our installation team, you'll be involved in a variety of high-quality domestic projects throughout Suffolk and surrounding areas, including:

Full plumbing and heating installations
Boiler replacements and central heating upgrades
First and second fix plumbing
New build homes, extensions and property refurbishments
Air Source Heat Pump installations (training available)
Commissioning heating systems and demonstrating them to customers
Working alongside other skilled trades to deliver exceptional finished projects

Every project is different, offering varied and rewarding work with no two days being the same.

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, professional and passionate about producing outstanding work.

You'll ideally have:

At least 5 years' experience in the plumbing and heating industry
Gas Safe Registration
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)
A full UK driving license
Excellent problem solving abilities and attention to detail
Confidence working independently as well as within a close knit team
Strong communication skills and a professional approach when working in customers' homes
Pride in delivering work to the highest standard

Desirable (but not essential)

Unvented Hot Water qualification
OFTEC registration
Experience installing Air Source Heat Pumps
Knowledge of renewable heating technologies

Salary & Benefits

£42,000–£50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
