Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety. All positions are paid, including internships.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to control access in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Conduct thorough surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or potential security threats
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft or unauthorised access
Provide a visible security presence to deter undesirable behaviour and maintain order within the venue
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary
Enforce venue rules and regulations politely but firmly, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons
Record detailed incident reports when required and liaise with law enforcement or emergency services as needed

Skills

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence recognised by the Security Industry Authority (SIA)
Experience in surveillance techniques and loss prevention methods
Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
Strong communication skills with an approachable demeanour
First aid certification is highly desirable but not essential; training can be provided if necessary
Organised, attentive to detail, and capable of working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
