Location: Taunton
Salary: Up to £48,550.00 per annum (Plus monthly fuel and insurance allowances)
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 18:00 with a 1 hour lunch break

Were seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our Van Service Department in Taunton. About the Role:

As a Van Service Manager, youll oversee the day-to-day running of the department, manage budgets, ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, and motivate your team to exceed service targets and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the Service Department to achieve business and financial goals.
Drive performance of the front-of-house team to meet budget and sales targets.
Ensure full compliance with Mercedes-Benz franchise standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Monitor and report on service KPIs, customer satisfaction, and business performance.
Manage customer relationships, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution of any issues or complaints.
Maintain and improve customer retention through proactive engagement and excellent service delivery.
Lead, coach, and develop your team through regular performance reviews and training.

What Were Looking For:

Were looking for a confident and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Youll have a strong understanding of service operations, commercial vehicles, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Full, UK Driving Licence
Proven experience in a Service Management role within the motor industry.
Demonstrated success in a customer-focused environment.
Strong technical or product knowledge of commercial vehicles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Proficient in administration and IT systems

Ability to commute/relocate:

Taunton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
