This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in electronics and aviation, eager to develop hands-on skills in a dynamic, safety-critical environment. You’ll receive full training from experienced engineers and gain exposure to a wide range of commercial aircraft avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair and testing of aircraft electrical and avionics components under supervision.
- Learn to operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and diagnostic tools.
- Support experienced technicians in fault-finding, disassembly, and board-level repair.
- Accurately record test results and repair data in line with quality standards.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Actively participate in internal training and development programs.
- Account for working hours using the company’s timesheet system.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A–C (4–9), including English and Mathematics.
- Genuine interest in electronics, engineering, or aviation (BTEC or similar qualification is a plus).
- Practical mindset and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
