Cat C + E HGV Driver and Hiab Operator | Leighton Buzzard| From £19.00 per hour
We are seeking a proactive and reliable team player to drive vehicles ranging from Class 2 up to Class 1, delivering Mast Climbing Work Platforms and other equipment to sites, ensuring they arrive safely on time.
The successful candidate will be self-disciplined and able to use their own initiative. They must have excellent communication skills and be committed to delivering high-quality work. Health and safety are key in our industry so they must have a strong understanding of how to minimise risks.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the vehicle is loaded so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
- Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to make while respecting the customer’s property
- Check goods off with site team and obtain signature and print
- Provide excellent service to all team members
- Operate the crane safely and in accordance with the correct procedures
- Provide support in the Yard as required by the Line Management
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the Company Dress Code Policy and Health and Safety Policy
- Role may require some nights out each month. Food allowances and additional night out payments to be rewarded in such circumstances
Experience:
Applicants must have a full HGV driving license and at least 2 years of HGV driving experience within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will hold an industry recognised ‘lorry mounted crane’ certification but training can be given to the right candidate.

- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Opportunity for overtime at the weekends. This is paid in line with the company overtime policy
