Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our culinary team in the role of <PERSON>. Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking and presentation of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Handle food production tasks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Support with butchery tasks, including portioning and trimming meat as required
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with food preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
Organise workstations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency throughout the kitchen
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high-quality service delivery
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs to management

Skills

Proven experience in food production or culinary roles, preferably within a restaurant or similar environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Experience with food preparation techniques across various cuisines
Skills in butchery, including meat portioning and trimming, are highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting
A genuine passion for food and continuous learning within the culinary arts
