Job Title: Technical Delivery Specialist (Edgewing)
Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.
Salary: £54,808+ (DOE)

Job Description:
As a Technical Delivery Specialist, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the delivery of complex digital and technical workstreams across internal teams, Lead System Integrators (LSIs) and external delivery partners.
Working within a complex multi-partner environment, you’ll ensure technical activities, dependencies and deliverables remain aligned to programme objectives, governance requirements and delivery schedules. You’ll collaborate with technical specialists, project teams and senior stakeholders to support successful delivery outcomes, manage delivery risks and ensure programme priorities are achieved.
Core duties:
- Lead technical delivery activities across internal teams, system integrators and external delivery partners
- Manage dependencies, risks and delivery priorities across multiple technical workstreams
- Facilitate technical delivery reviews and governance forums, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and organisations
- Support resource planning and coordination activities across delivery teams
- Ensure delivery artefacts, technical documentation and programme outputs are produced in line with agreed standards and schedules
- Act as a key point of coordination for technical delivery activities, supporting issue resolution and delivery performance
- Provide delivery leadership across assigned workstreams, ensuring activities remain aligned to programme objectives and milestones
Essential Skills:
- Experience delivering complex technical, digital or systems-based projects within multi-team environments
- Experience coordinating activities across technical stakeholders, suppliers or delivery partners
- Experience providing technical leadership and delivery oversight across multiple workstreams, stakeholders and external partners
- Understanding of delivery governance, project controls and structured delivery methodologies
- Experience managing technical risks, dependencies and delivery challenges
- Ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
