We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Featherstone a category C Prison located in Wolverhampton.

HMP Featherstone is a male prison with a population of 678 males, this is a training prison with a layout of 7 wings.

As a Paramedic, you will be based within the healthcare department however you will also be required to work on the prison wings.

Hours

Monday - Sunday service - 37.5 hours per week
Weekdays - 7am - 6.30pm
Weekends - 8.30am - 5.30pm
Every other weekend
8 week rolling rota

Salary

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary is between £34,428 - £41,659 per annum - depending on experience.

As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.

Qualified Paramedic
Current professional registration (HCPC)
Proven post-registration ambulance experience
Evidence of continued professional development
