Owner Van Driver (Self-Employed) - Same Day Courier
We are seeking reliable and professional Owner Van Drivers to join our growing same day courier operation.
This is a self-employed role for drivers who own their own van and are looking for regular courier work. Drivers can be based anywhere in the Midlands and will carry out nationwide same day deliveries, with most jobs involving palletised freight.
Typically, drivers will complete 2 to 3 deliveries per day, allowing for longer-distance routes and strong earning potential.

Requirements
- Must own a van of any size (Small Van, SWB, LWB, XLWB or Luton Van)
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Reliable smartphone with GPS navigation
- Ability to secure and transport palletised goods safely
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Previous courier, pallet network, or delivery experience is beneficial
Duties
- Collect and deliver palletised freight and general goods nationwide
- Complete approximately 2 to 3 delivery stops per day
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Maintain communication with the transport team
- Obtain delivery confirmations and complete required paperwork
- Follow all road traffic and health & safety regulations

Additional Information
- The vast majority of deliveries do not require any handballing, with approximately 9 out of 10 jobs involving palletised freight.
- On the rare occasions where handballing is required, this will be clearly communicated in advance.
- Any agreed handball work will be paid separately and in addition to the standard rate.
