As a Commercial Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our commercial teams, helping manage project costs, strengthening supply chain relationships, and contributing to the successful delivery of our work. What you'll be doing
- Gathering data and researching current construction costs under supervision.
- Measuring, recording and valuing works in line with established rules and procedures.
- Recording progress on site and helping to maintain accurate project records.
- Using the company’s ERP system to support commercial reporting and processes.
- Collating cost and value information for the commercial team.
- Assisting with procurement by collecting required information, documenting supplier interest and understanding procurement steps.
- Measuring works and providing information on subcontractor performance.
- Maintaining your Personal Development Plan while working towards your HNC/HND and NVQ qualifications.
- Progressing toward Associate Membership with RICS or ICES through structured development and training.
Who we're looking for
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
- Experience working in an administrative or office-based role.
- Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to handle and process data accurately, with good attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload.
- Ability to work proactively and use initiative when solving problems.
- A positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
