Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated night and weekend Kitchen Porter's to join our busy team. The successful candidates will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional culinary setting, ideal for those interested in developing their skills within the hospitality industry or those venturing out into the world of work whilst in education.

Duties

Washing up dishes and utensils
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to meet health and safety standards
Supporting the organisation of storage areas and ensuring stock is properly stored
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential - a positive attitude and willingness to learn will do!
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

This role provides an excellent entry point into the hospitality sector, offering opportunities for professional growth and development if desired.

Due to the location of the pub we ask that candidates only apply if they have their own transport as we cannot rely on the buses to Georgeham.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £6.50-£13.00 per hour
