Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring all food safety standards are met. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a vibrant restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The successful applicant will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Assist in meal preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and restocking supplies as needed
Serve dishes to customers in a professional and courteous manner when required

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience working with grills or open flame cooking equipment is highly desirable
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary presentation skills
Previous experience in a kitchen setting involving restaurant service is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
