Join WMRSASC as a Counselling Navigator Assistant and become the vital link that helps survivors of sexual violence access life-changing support. You will be the compassionate first point of contact, guiding people through their journey to recovery.

Salary: £21,120 per annum (£26,400 FTE)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: Worcester

About the role

As our Counselling Navigator Assistant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring individuals can access support in a timely, professional and compassionate way. Working within a dedicated and supportive team, you will be responsible for the smooth administration that makes our counselling service possible.

What you will be doing:

Support counselling service administration including appointment management, correspondence and record keeping
Manage referrals, enquiries and service access requests
Collect and record monitoring and performance information accurately
Liaise with service users, colleagues and partner agencies
Maintain accurate and confidential records following organisational procedures

About you

We are looking for someone who is organised, empathetic and professional, with excellent administrative and communication skills. You will be comfortable handling sensitive information and supporting individuals accessing specialist services.

Essential Requirements

Experience of working in a role involving administration, client contact and accurate record keeping
Experience of managing enquiries, appointments, referrals, waiting lists or service access
Experience of working with confidential and sensitive information
Ability to communicate sensitively and professionally with people accessing services
Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands and meet deadlines
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email and databases
Empathy, sensitivity and a non-judgemental approach
Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and anti-discriminatory practice

Previous experience in the sexual violence sector is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
