As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital support role within the catering team, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and hygienically.
Reporting into the Head Chef/Sous Chef, you will help maintain high standards that enable the team to deliver an outstanding experience for our customers.
The Role
- Ensure basic cleaning duties are completed promptly and to a high standard
- Collect and wash pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery
- Clean food preparation areas and kitchen equipment thoroughly
- Assist with unloading deliveries of food and kitchen supplies
- Keep the storeroom organised and well-maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work surfaces, walls, and floors
- Support the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

- Able to follow instructions, while also using initiative to make appropriate decisions in the best interests of the customer
