Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a White Goods Delivery and Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves delivering and installing household appliances such as washing machines, dishwasher, and ovens. The successful candidate will possess appropriate mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team when necessary. This position offers an opportunity to utilise genuine interest in the appliance sector in a welcoming environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service delivery. There is opportunity in this role to develop skills and train to become an Appliance Service Engineer, if desired.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver white goods to customer premises, ensuring timely and damage-free transportation
Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
Troubleshoot technical issues related to appliance operation, if applicable
Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals for accurate installation
Maintain accurate records and sign jobs off in accordance with Company procedures
Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to during every task, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workspace

Requirements

Experience in similar role preferred
Interest in engineering, electrics, mechanical or technical sector essential
Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and electrical wiring related to white goods
Ability to perform installations in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
Basic understanding of construction and electrical principles relevant to appliance installation
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting
Valid driving licence suitable for transporting appliances safely
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Positive, helpful attitude with ability to lend themselves to other areas of the business if required

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technical work within the home appliance sector who are eager to develop their skills further while providing exceptional service as part of a small, friendly team.
