Campden BRI is one of the largest independent membership-based food and drink research organisations, working with food and drinks companies around the globe. We provide scientific, technical and regulatory expertise that helps our clients innovate safely and bring new products to market.

About the role

We're looking for a highly organised, safety-conscious professional with hands-on-food or drink processing experience to take ownership of our pilot plant facility. You'll be the go-to-person for keeping the equipment running safely, compliantly, and ready for action, supporting our Product Innovation team and our clients every step of the way.

What you'll be doing

Owning health & safety, quality and food safety systems, including training and ongoing compliance monitoring
Managing calibration and servicing schedules for 50+ pieces of equipment (internal and external)
Coordinating contractors, raising purchase orders, and managing site visits and documentation
Auditing housekeeping, ingredient storage and GMP standards across all areas
Acting as the main point of contact for pest control, PAT testing, water testing and FES liaison
Supporting project teams with hands-on work, paperwork sign-off and client-facing activity

What you'll bring

Educated to at least A-level standard
HACCP Level 3 or above
Solid knowledge of quality management systems
Practical, hands-on experience operating food processing equipment
Strong organisational skills, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
Confident communication skills, able to influence stakeholders
