7.5 Tonne Cherry Picker Operator – Sheffield

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We’re looking for a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Cherry Picker Operator to join our Sheffield depot.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and wants to join a well-established and growing business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for safely delivering and operating our truck-mounted access platforms at customer sites across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

Driving and operating truck-mounted access platforms.
Carrying out daily vehicle and platform safety checks.
Setting up equipment safely and efficiently on site.
Providing a professional service to customers.
Completing job paperwork and vehicle checks.
Maintaining a clean and well-presented vehicle.
Representing Smart Platforms professionally at all times.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Full UK driving licence.
Category C1 or Category C (HGV) driving licence.
Previous experience operating truck-mounted access platforms.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, professional and able to work independently.

Desirable:

IPAF 1b qualification.
