Full job description

TikTok Shop Live Presenter

Contract: Casual, flexible hours but weekend availability is required.

Rate of pay: £12.90 per hour (we are also trialling a commission structure which could increase earnings by up to £30 per hour).

Reports to: Pies by Post Manager

We are seeking a confident and engaging TikTok Shop Live Presenter to support the growth of our family‑run, award‑winning pie business. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality live selling sessions on TikTok Shop, showcasing our products, and providing an excellent customer experience to drive online sales.

Key Responsibilities

Host engaging, informative, and entertaining TikTok Shop live streams
Present products clearly and confidently, highlighting quality, ingredients, and unique selling points
Interact with viewers in real time, responding to questions in a friendly and helpful manner
Use persuasive communication to encourage purchases and promote special offers
Represent the brand with warmth, authenticity, and professionalism
Collaborate with the Pies by Post and Marketing teams to plan live schedules and product focuses
Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as required

Skills and Attributes

Essential

Confident on camera with a natural ability to engage viewers
Experience in sales, customer service, or live presenting
Strong communication skills with the ability to think and respond quickly
Reliable, organised, and comfortable working independently
Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic
Willingness to learn TikTok Shop features and processes
Passion for great food and supporting a family‑run brand
Positive, energetic, and comfortable being a visible representative of the business

Desirable

Previous TikTok Shop live selling experience
Background in retail, food, hospitality, or small business environments
Familiarity with TikTok trends and platform features

Additional Information

This role involves periods of lone working; confidence and independence are essential
Flexibility is required, as live stream times may vary
A driving licence is preferred due to multiple streaming locations, but not essential if you can reliably travel to and from work
