Activ8 For Kids are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate play worker/teaching assistant to work in our club in Chichester. The role will involve planning and setting up activities for the children coming to the club after school, collecting the children and then supervising the group of children.
About you
You will need to be confident to deliver a range of activities and create a fun-filled stimulating and safe environment, with activities for all to enjoy. Working well in a team is important as well as being able to communicate confidently with children, parents and staff.
- Must be fun, outgoing and be a team player
- Able to plan and deliver a variety of activities for ages 4-11 year olds
- First Aid Certificate (training can be provided)
- Safeguarding Certificate (training can be provided)
- Proven experience working with Primary age children
The right candidate will have bundles of energy, a passion for activity and making differences to children's lives.
We can offer training to further your career in all other areas related to the role.
The hours of work will be 7-9am and 2:30-6pm Monday to Friday. This is a term time only role initially, however we also operate holiday clubs so there is the option for the successful candidate to have full year work if wanted. We are also happy to hear from candidates who can only do some sessions or those who need full time hours as we can offer other hours as well.
