About The Role
The role
Responsible for recruiting great people, developing talent, and planning and delivering training and annual refreshers across the organisation.
Principal responsibilities
Recruit, induct and support new staff, ensuring a positive onboarding experience. Supporting staff to achieve the Care Certificate.

Provide a 12-week programme of support for all new staff that includes observations, supervisions and appraisals to promote continuous improvement.

Identify training and development needs and design and deliver effective learning opportunities for all staff.

Plan, deliver and monitor mandatory, specialist and annual refresher training.

Maintain training records, compliance systems and training matrices, ensuring CQC requirements are met.

Develop and update training materials, evaluating feedback to continuously improve training delivery

Liaise with internal and external training providers to coordinate learning opportunities.

Promote innovative approaches to learning and workforce development.

Participate in on-call rota and where required provide care and support directly to customers.
