We are looking for a passionate, highly organised and commercially driven Wedding & Events Sales and Coordination Executive to join our team. This role combines both sales and event coordination responsibilities, supporting clients from their initial enquiry through to the successful delivery of their event experience.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving wedding, social and corporate event revenue while ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer journey. You will be responsible for converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, building strong relationships with clients, and coordinating event details to deliver outstanding experiences reflective of the Clevedon Hall brand.
The role requires a balance of strong sales ability, exceptional organisation, creativity and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to wedding, corporate and social event enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct venue show rounds and deliver engaging, personalised experiences to prospective clients.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through proactive sales techniques and relationship building.
- Build strong understanding of client requirements and provide tailored proposals and quotations.
- Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling and additional services.
- Support achievement of monthly and annual sales targets across weddings, corporate and social events.
- Maintain accurate records and activity within CRM systems.
- Support marketing activity and promotional campaigns where required.
- Build relationships with external suppliers, agencies and industry contacts.
Wedding & Event Coordination Responsibilities
- Coordinate weddings and events from confirmation through to final delivery stages.
- Conduct planning meetings and communicate effectively with clients throughout their journey.
- Prepare detailed event documentation, function sheets and operational briefs.
- Liaise closely with chefs, operations teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Manage timelines and event logistics ensuring exceptional attention to detail.
- Support clients in personalising their event experience and provide recommendations where appropriate.
- Ensure all client communication reflects the high standards and service expectations of Clevedon Hall.
General Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Support venue open evenings, showcase events and promotional activities.
- Assist with administration and reporting requirements.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship across all departments.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within wedding, hospitality or event sales and coordination.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong sales awareness with confidence in converting enquiries into bookings.
- Exceptional organisation and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends where required.
- Passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a luxury wedding venue or hotel environment.
- Knowledge of wedding and events planning systems.
- Experience working with exclusive-use venues.
