Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Quran Teacher to inspire and educate students in the sacred teachings of the Quran. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and experience working with children. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, mentoring students, and fostering a respectful learning environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive Quran lessons tailored to various age groups and learning levels
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation
- Develop customised lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their spiritual growth
- Mentor students in understanding the teachings of the Quran and applying them in daily life
- Organise community events or programmes related to Islamic education and values
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and community members to support student development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and other relevant documentation
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching or mentoring within an Islamic educational setting or similar environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging learners of diverse backgrounds
- Experience working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding
- Knowledge of Islamic principles and the ability to convey them effectively through teaching methods
- Prior experience in organising community activities or fundraising initiatives is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for religious education and community service is essential for success in this role
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
