Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our team. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration and air conditioning systems across various settings. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in equipment repair and air conditioning systems to contribute to a dynamic organisation committed to high standards of service and safety.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems in commercial, industrial and residential environments.
Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, or HVAC systems
Knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and associated electrical components.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in refrigeration or air conditioning are preferred but not essential.
