Onyx Mechanical Solutions Ltd is looking for 8 experienced Pipefitters and Plumbers for a busy project in Slough.
This is a minimum 2-month contract with approximately 67 hours available each week, including Saturday work.
Working Hours
Monday-Friday: 7:00am-7:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am-2:00pm
Total: approximately 67 hours per week
Pay Rates
First 37.5 hours: £27.00 per hour
Next 15.5 hours: £35.10 per hour (1.3x)
Hours above 53: £40.50 per hour (1.5x)
At 67 hours per week, earnings are approximately:
£2,123.55 gross per week
£1,698.84 after a standard 20% CIS deduction
Payment is made weekly through CIS.
The Work
The project involves large prefabricated pipework installations.
Duties will include work such as:
- Installation of large prefabricated pipework
- Working alongside pipefitters and welders
- Brazing
- BCW pipework installation
- Condensate waste installation
- ABS plastic pipework
- General commercial pipefitting and plumbing duties
Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
- Have a relevant valid CSCS card
- Have a valid CIS/UTR number
- Have relevant commercial pipefitting or plumbing experience
- Be able to provide references
- Be available to start ASAP
- Be able to work the required 6-day schedule
