Graphic Designer

Location: 225 Denby Dale Road, Madison Offices, Wakefield, WF2 7AJ

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £41,700 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About Us

NextWave IT Solutions Ltd is a growing IT company providing software development, IT consultancy, website development and digital business solutions to clients across the UK. We are looking for a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality digital and marketing materials for both our company and client projects.

The Role

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in developing engaging visual content that strengthens our brand identity and supports our digital transformation projects. You will work closely with our team to produce creative designs across a variety of digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design branding materials and corporate identity assets.
Create graphics for websites, landing pages and digital platforms.
Produce engaging content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
Design brochures, presentations, banners, infographics and promotional materials.
Create visual assets that maintain consistency with company branding.
Work alongside development and marketing teams on website and UI/UX design elements.
Prepare artwork for both digital and print use.
Manage multiple design projects while meeting agreed deadlines.
Keep up to date with current design trends and creative technologies.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Knowledge of Canva or Figma is desirable.
Good understanding of typography, colour theory and layout principles.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
