Experienced Swim Teacher (Part-Time)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Swim Teacher to join our friendly team, teaching in our warm 31°C private pool.
This is a varied and rewarding role, working with children and adults of all abilities in small class sizes.
Hours
Monday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- 1:1 and 2:1 home-educated children
- 1:1 adult lessons
- 3:1 preschool lessons
Friday: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 lessons
- Teaching from Stage 2 through to advanced stroke development
Additional cover hours are also available.
As we have our own pools, we operate all year round and are not restricted to school term times, providing consistent work throughout the year.
If you hold baby and preschool swimming qualifications, we can also offer additional classes.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year’s swim teaching experience (essential)
- Confident teaching swimmers of different ages and abilities
- Excellent knowledge of stroke development and water safety
- Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable
- Strong communication skills with both swimmers and parents
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an advantage
- Current Swim England (or equivalent) teaching qualification
- Current DBS, First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain where appropriate
Pay
£17.50–£19.00 per hour, depending on class size.

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the pool or plan to relocate before starting work.
