Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and experienced All Round Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of building tasks, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with diverse skills in construction to contribute to a variety of building and renovation projects, from residential to commercial sites. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills further within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work
Perform roofing repairs and installations with precision and safety awareness
Undertake construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes
Install and repair plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
Conduct welding tasks using appropriate techniques for structural or decorative purposes
Handle electrical installations or repairs where qualified, adhering to regulations
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various building activities
Fabricate components or structures as required, ensuring accuracy and durability
Assist in site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials and equipment
Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable
