Logistics done differently.Are you an HGV driver fed up with not knowing when you’re working next, or when your work will die down? Are you an experienced yard shunter looking for work in a stable industry during these strange times?? If you answered yes, then look no further - XPO Logistics is recruiting! We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver to join us based on our site in East Leake. Please click this link https://europejobs.xpo.com/en/ to see our current vacancies. Pay, benefits and more.Shifts are on a rotational basis:

Monday to Friday 06:00 - 16:00 £14:48 P/H.

You will be loading trailers and securing goods safely, Full training will be given
You will work in a safe manner at all times
You’ll be performing trailer movements in our busy regional yard
You will be driving a Tug on-site so previous experience would be an advantageAll work is yard based, no road work is expectedYou must have shunting experience as some manoeuvres are in confined spaces

What you need to succeed at XPO

Must be flexible in working hours
Previous Terberg shunt unit experience is desirable but training will be provided;
Ideally LGV / HGV C+E / Class 1 Entitlement on your licence
If a trained yard shunter without HGV Class 1, we will look to upskill your current licence
No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present
