Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Practice Manager/ Receptionist to join our friendly and professional dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous dental practice experience who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the dental practice.
Welcome patients and provide excellent customer service.
Schedule appointments and manage clinicians' diaries.
Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally.
Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
Coordinate treatment plans, recalls, and follow-up appointments.
Support the dental team with administrative duties.
Ensure compliance with GDC, CQC, GDPR, and infection control standards.
Manage stock ordering and general practice administration.
Assist with staff coordination and maintain an efficient working environment.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience working in a dental practice.
Previous experience as a Dental Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Manager, or Dental Receptionist.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong IT skills and experience using dental practice management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach.
Knowledge of GDC, CQC, and GDPR requirements.
GDC registered dental nurse
