Applications are invited for a part-time Project Coordinator to support the research activities of Professor Usha Goswami, Director of the Centre for Neuroscience in Education (http://cne.psychol.cam.ac.uk/).
The primary role of the post-holder will be to co-ordinate the smooth running of the ERC project Disordered Speech. This includes post-award research project administration (eg. Travel, HR), financial management of resources, co-ordinating equipment to maximise efficiency, assisting in organizing databases, and ensuring research compliance with ERC requirements. The post-holder would also provide a broad range of administrative assistance to support her research and the day-to-day running of her lab.
This is a wide-ranging position which would suit a self-motivated individual who is experienced in working in a diverse team and able to perform effectively under multiple demands.
Applicants should be educated to first degree level or have level 6 vocational qualifications or an equivalent level of practical experience and have experience in a similar administrative position, ideally with an EU project within a scientific research setting. Excellent organisational skills, complete reliability and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively are essential, as is meticulous attention to detail. Comprehensive IT skills for administration including the use of databases are required. A high standard of numeracy with proven ability in managing resources is expected. The candidate would be expected to split the hours over 3 working days, to maximise presence in the laboratory.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 December 2030 in the first instance.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
