Client Engagement and Delivery Manager (Two Roles)
Hybrid (two days per week onsite), Global Leadership Centre and Park End Street, Oxford
Grade 7: £39,424 - £47,779 per annum including the Oxford University weighting of £1,730 per annum
Fixed Term Contract: full time (37.5 hours per week) (one position for 12 months, to provide maternity cover and one position for 18 months)
As Client Engagement and Delivery Manager, you will manage a portfolio of Executive Education clients and take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of their learning programmes. You will build strong, trusted client relationships and lead multidisciplinary programme teams to deliver an exceptional experience, whether programmes are delivered in Oxford, at client locations, online or through a blended format.
Working collaboratively with Programme Managers and Coordinators, Faculty, Associate Fellows, Programme Directors and colleagues across the School, you will oversee programme planning, learning design and development, stakeholder engagement, budgets, contracts and delivery logistics. You will ensure programmes are delivered smoothly, to a consistently high standard and in line with client expectations and agreed objectives.
You will also play an important role in strengthening long-term client relationships, using feedback and evaluation to continually improve the client and participant experience, support client retention and identify opportunities for further engagement. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the continued growth and success of Executive Education at Saïd Business School.
Key responsibilities
- Client and portfolio management: Take end-to-end operational ownership of a portfolio of complex client engagements, building trusted relationships and ensuring client objectives and requirements are understood and delivered.
- Project and programme delivery: Lead multiple concurrent Executive Education programmes from planning and design through to delivery, managing project plans, timelines, documentation, stakeholders and the participant journey.
- Team leadership and collaboration: Lead multidisciplinary programme teams in a matrix environment, providing direction and support to Programme Managers and Coordinators and working closely with Faculty, Associate Fellows and colleagues across the School.
- Financial and contractual management: Manage programme budgets of up to £3m+ per annum, including forecasting, monitoring and approving expenditure, financial reconciliation and ensuring appropriate contractual and financial processes are followed.
- Delivery and service excellence: Oversee programme logistics and delivery across Oxford, client and other external locations, maintaining high standards across communications, materials, venues and the overall client and participant experience.
- Client retention and continuous improvement: Monitor client and participant feedback and service performance, identify opportunities to improve delivery, and work with Sales and Customer Relations to strengthen client relationships, support retention and identify opportunities for further growth.
Undertake other duties as appropriate to the grade and as required eg by line manager.
