Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to diligently.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or disturbances.
Utilise CCTV systems effectively to oversee the premises and respond promptly to any suspicious behaviour.
Conduct regular inspections of the property, ensuring all entry points are secure.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
Respond to alarms and incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and any actions taken.
Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during emergencies or investigations.

Requirements

Proven experience in security or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention practices.
Familiarity with CCTV operations and monitoring systems.
Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
