Flexible Team Member – Bakery & Retail (Petrol Forecourt)
Location: Damory Garage
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour (age 21+), plus £1 extra per hour for all hours worked at weekends. Paid break times included.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Team Member to join our busy Bakery & Retail team at Budgens Damory Garage. This permanent role involves working across both the bakery and shop — preparing and cooking fresh food, serving customers, and keeping the store running smoothly.

As a flexible team member, you’ll work a range of shifts across different days and times, supporting the team wherever needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and a hands-on approach in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present hot food and bakery items to a high standard
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times
Deliver friendly, helpful customer service at the tills and on the forecourt
Replenish shelves and assist with stock deliveries
Keep the store clean, organised, and well-presented
Support team members and adapt to different tasks as needed
Follow company standards to ensure quality and consistency

What We’re Looking For

Must be 18 or over (due to working hours regulations)
Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
No fixed hours – shifts will be arranged in advance based on business needs
Previous experience in food preparation, bakery, or retail preferred (training provided)
Good communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail
