Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, highly organised and creative Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our small and dedicated team. Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Plan and execute all social media content across Instagram and Facebook
- Create engaging, on-brand content that reflects the personality of Canada Lodge and Lake
- Write newsletters, email campaigns, website copy, and printed content
- Design and update digital signage and event promotional materials
- Organise and publicise public-facing events in partnership with external collaborators
- Capture and share behind-the-scenes content and real-time event highlights
- Support pricing updates and creation of sales materials (e.g. brochures, leaflets for future years)
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to bring creative and commercial ideas to life
Event Coordination & Sales
- Manage event and wedding bookings from enquiry to execution
- Conduct venue viewings for prospective couples and clients
- Coordinate and deliver weddings, private parties, and seasonal events
- Liaise with suppliers, caterers, and clients to ensure seamless event delivery
- Create and manage internal event documents and schedules
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat clients
- Handle phone and email enquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Support internal planning for new event concepts and packages
Qualifications
- Experience in event coordination and/or marketing
- A relevant degree (e.g. Events Management, Marketing, Communications) is beneficial but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Creative mindset and confident using tools like Canva, Mailchimp, and social platforms
- Passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests and clients
