As our Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our pupils, families, visitors and staff. From a cheerful morning greeting to keeping the busy school office running smoothly, no two days will be the same!

What you’ll be doing

Welcoming children, parents, visitors and staff with a warm and professional smile
Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
Managing the school reception and office administration
Supporting pupil sign-in/sign-out procedures and maintaining accurate records
Communicating confidently and positively with parents and carers
Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Helping to create a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for everyone

What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

Warm, approachable and friendly, with a genuine love of working around children
Highly organised and able to juggle competing priorities
Confident communicating with children, parents and professionals
Calm and positive, even when the school office gets busy
Reliable, professional and discreet when handling confidential information
A team player who is happy to go the extra mile
Experienced in administration or reception work — school experience is desirable but not essential
